Multan-bound pilgrims protest as PIA flight leaves them stranded at Jeddah Airport

The pilgrims said that they had confirmed tickets for PIA flight PK-846 from Jeddah to Multan. They arrived at airport two hours before the scheduled departure time, but were denied boarding the plane

MULTAN (Dunya News) - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has made yet another blunder when the airlines flight departed from Jeddah without Multan-bound Hajj pilgrims who were left stranded at the airport.

The passengers, including women Hajj pilgrims, staged a strong protest at the Jeddah Airport.

The pilgrims said that they had confirmed tickets for PIA flight PK-846 from Jeddah to Multan. They arrived at the airport two hours before the scheduled departure time, but were denied boarding the plane.

The pilgrims further stated that they, including the women pilgrims, have been left stranded and helpless at the Jeddah Airport.
