ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has dismissed a complaint filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.
According to details, the SJC informed PTI’s Secretary General Omar Ayub about the decision, which was taken during its February 11 meeting after reviewing the complaint.
The petition had sought action against the Chief Election Commissioner over alleged rigging in the 2024 general elections. The complaint was filed by Omar Ayub in his capacity as PTI’s Secretary General.
With the dismissal of the petition, the council has disposed of the matter, effectively closing the proceedings related to the allegations.
