KARACHI (Dunya News) – Immigration officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) offloaded three female passengers at Karachi Airport after identifying suspected irregularities in their educational documents.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the women were prevented from boarding flights to Germany on the basis of suspicious academic credentials presented during immigration clearance.
Two of the passengers were travelling on student visas, while the third intended to travel on a residence permit.
Further investigations reportedly led authorities to a Karachi-based agent identified as Humayun, who allegedly provided fake educational documents to the passengers in exchange for Rs150,000 per person.
The FIA has launched further inquiries into the case and is working to determine the extent of the alleged document fraud network.
