Bilawal Bhutto arrives in Skardu to launch Gilgit-Baltistan election campaign

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in Skardu for the Gilgit-Baltistan election campaign and is set to address public rallies in several districts across the region.

SKARDU (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in Skardu on Monday to begin his party’s election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan, where he is scheduled to address a series of public gatherings in different districts.

Upon his arrival in Skardu, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was received by senior party leaders and government officials. Those present to welcome him included PPP Parliamentarians Secretary General Nayar Bukhari, PPP Secretary General Humayun Khan, Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah and Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider.

Several other party leaders and office-bearers were also present at the reception. Among them were PPP Central Information Secretary Nadeem Afzal Chan and other senior party representatives.

As part of his election campaign, the PPP chairman is scheduled to address a public rally in Gulabpur Tehsil of Shigar district. The gathering is expected to mark the beginning of his campaign activities in the region ahead of the upcoming elections.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also address election rallies in Skardu, Chilas, Ghizer and Gilgit during his visit, where he is expected to present the party’s agenda and mobilize support for PPP candidates contesting the elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.
