ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Four persons died and five sustained critical injuries in an accident at Bhara Kahu Athal Chowk here on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, a recklessly-driven car rammed into two cars and several motorcycles, killing four and injuring five on road.
Having being informed, police and rescuers scrambled to the site and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. The condition of the injured was stated to be critical.
Police said the car driver fled after leaving his vehicle. A search operation was launched to apprehend the driver. Police said the culprit would be arrested soon. Reckless driving and excessive speed were stated to be the reason for the accident.
