Says people's businesses were targeted for political revenge

DERA ISMAIL KHAN (Dunya News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said people faced difficulties in the PTI rule.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the new NADRA office here on Saturday, the KP governor said people's businesses were targeted for political revenge.

Faisal Karim Kundi added that KP had resources, but its people were facing economic challenges and hardships. The governor announced gas supply project for Kurai and Kotla Syedan.

Earlier, Faisal Karim Kundi said that the efforts were being accelerated to restore commercial operations at Dera Ismail Khan Airport, adding that the facility would soon be made operational for ATR flights after completion of the remaining development work.

Talking to media representatives, Kundi thanked Defence Minister Khawaja Asif for his support regarding the revival of Dera Airport and said runway carpeting had already been completed, while additional work was in progress to restore regular flight operations.
