KOHAT (Dunya News) – A youngster drowned in Tanda Dam here on Saturday.
According to rescue sources, the youth identified as Rizwan was bathing in the dam with his friends when he drowned, whereas his friends were rescued.
Rizwan was 16-year-old. He resided in Kohat, and went to Tanda Dam for picnic in the company of his friends. They planned to bath in the dam, which turned fatal for Riwan.
Having being informed, police reached the site and started investigation after shifting the body to hospital for necessary procedure.
With the rise of mercury across the country, people, particularly youngsters go to canals, dams, lakes and water reservoirs to beat the heat, but sometimes their bath turns fatal over failure to adopt precautions.
