KARACHI (Dunya News) - An unusual incident took place at the Jinnah Hospital, Karachi, where a woman gave birth to a baby in the hospital’s washroom on Friday, Dunya News reported.
The family claimed that woman, who was in labour, gave birth to the baby in the washroom of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
However, the hospital administration stated that the baby was actually delivered in the labour room of the hospital and described the allegations of a washroom delivery as baseless.
According to the hospital administration, the patient gave birth to a healthy baby in the labour room of the hospital at 2:50 a.m., and later her family members took her home against the doctors’ advice.
