'Freedom will rise in occupied Kashmir': AJK PM marks Eid with frontline troops

Faisal Mumtaz Rathore says Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos sent strong message to adversaries

MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore celebrated Eidul Azha with Pakistan Army soldiers stationed in the Chirikot sector, paying tribute to the armed forces for their sacrifices and services in defence of the country.

During the visit, the AJK premier met troops deployed along the sector and commended their high morale and commitment to national security. He described the services and sacrifices of the armed forces as a matter of national pride.

Speaking on the occasion, Rathore said the historic success of Pakistan’s armed forces in Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos had delivered a clear message to the enemy. He said the operation demonstrated that Pakistan’s defence was “invincible” and reflected the courage, patriotism and spirit of sacrifice shown by the country’s military personnel.

The prime minister said the entire nation took pride in the dedication and bravery of the armed forces. He also reiterated support for the people of Indian-Occupied Kashmir , saying their struggle for freedom would continue “at every cost and under all circumstances”.

Rathore expressed confidence that the day was not far when “the sun of freedom” would rise in Indian-administered Kashmir. He reaffirmed solidarity with the Kashmiri people and praised the determination of those continuing the movement for self-determination.

The Eid gathering in the Chirikot sector featured interactions between the prime minister and soldiers serving on the frontlines.
