MAKKAH (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan fast-bowling great and cricket legend Wasim Akram has gone viral on social media after a video showed him symbolically pelting the Jamarat during Hajj in his trademark bowling style.
The former left-arm pacer, widely known as the “Sultan of Swing”, is currently in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. A video circulating online captured Akram throwing pebbles at the Jamarat while mimicking his famous bowling action, drawing widespread attention from cricket fans and social media users.
In the footage, Akram appears to deliver the pebbles with a characteristic inswing-yorker motion before celebrating in a playful manner, reminiscent of his on-field wicket celebrations during his illustrious cricket career.

Several former cricketers and entertainment personalities from Pakistan are also among those performing Hajj this year.
