Iran says US will not get new bases in region and future belongs to Islamic unity, amid reported claims from Telegram message attributed to Iranian leadership.

TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Iran has stated that the United States will not be allowed to establish additional military bases in the region, adding that the future belongs to the Muslim Ummah and a new Islamic civilization.

In a message issued on the occasion of Hajj, Iranian figure Mojtaba Khamenei said that the slogan “Allahu Akbar” has acted as a powerful force strengthening ties between the Muslim Ummah and young fighters of the resistance front.

He further stated that this unity extends from Iran to Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, and Syria, as well as from Africa and Yemen to Pakistan and other free nations across the world.

In a statement shared via a Telegram channel, he said Gulf powers would no longer act as a shield for American military bases, adding that the United States would not find safe havens in the region.

The remarks come at a time when Tehran and Washington are reportedly engaged in discussions over a framework aimed at ending a three-month-long dispute.

He added that time cannot be reversed and that regional nations would no longer serve as protective cover for US bases, stressing that America would not have secure locations for military presence in the region.

The report also claimed that Mojtaba Khamenei assumed leadership in March after the death of his father Ali Khamenei in alleged US-Israeli airstrikes, though these claims remain part of circulating reports and have not been independently verified.

It further stated that Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared publicly so far.
