ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A fire erupted in the Margalla Hills near Sector F-5 in the federal capital, prompting authorities to temporarily shut down all hiking trails.
According to sources, the blaze spread across three different locations within the Margalla Hills, leading to a large-scale rescue and firefighting operation.
Officials stated that more than 65 personnel, including rescue workers, firefighters, and other relevant staff, were involved in efforts to contain the fire.
Strong winds hampered the operation, while difficult terrain restricted access to several affected areas, complicating emergency response efforts.
