LAHORE (Web Desk) – Amid ongoing speculation surrounding the personal life of Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal, it has now been confirmed that she has quietly entered into marriage with Hamza Habib.
The confirmation surfaced during a legal appearance at the Lahore High Court, where Hamza Habib referred to himself as her husband, putting an end to circulating rumours about their relationship status.
The development quickly gained traction in media circles and on social platforms.
Addressing the media outside the Lahore High Court, Hamza Habib confirmed that the nikah had taken place two days earlier. He stated that Momina Iqbal is now his legal wife, describing the relationship as formally and religiously complete.
He added that he would take all necessary steps to ensure her dignity and protection, speaking firmly about his commitment as her husband. His remarks were made during his appearance before journalists at the court premises, where he was attending proceedings related to an ongoing case.
Hamza Habib appeared before the Lahore High Court in connection with a case registered by Jhang police over allegations of issuing threats to an individual identified as Saqib Chadhar. The court granted him protective bail until June 1 and directed him to approach the relevant trial court within the stipulated timeframe.
Outside court, he described the case as politically motivated and without basis, alleging attempts to pressure him. He further claimed that Saqib Chadhar had contacted him and offered financial inducements in exchange for distancing himself from Momina Iqbal.
