ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Indian Punjab, has sharply criticised the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming it portrays a misleading image of opposition and regional politics.
Speaking to a private Indian television channel, Bhagwant Mann alleged that wherever the BJP contests elections, incidents of unrest, violence, and explosions tend to occur.
He further stated that after such incidents, blame is quickly shifted onto Pakistan, calling it part of what he described as the BJP’s “old Gujarat-based pattern.”
The Punjab chief minister added that the BJP should correct its perception, emphasizing that no seeds of hatred would be allowed to grow in Punjab. He also claimed that political parties aligning with the BJP eventually face negative consequences.
Bhagwant Mann further said that his government in Punjab is working to provide all essential facilities to the public.
