BEIJING (Dunya News) - Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir held an informal meeting with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang during an official ceremony in Beijing.
The interaction took place during a dignified reception held at the Great Hall of the People, where the Chinese premier warmly greeted Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir with a handshake.
The two leaders also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest during the brief meeting.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir is currently accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his official visit to China aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and strategic relations between the two countries.
Pakistan and China share longstanding diplomatic, economic, and defence ties, with cooperation expanding under projects linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
