PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an official notification announcing the schedule for summer vacations in educational institutions across both plains and upper cold districts of the province.
According to the notification, summer vacations in primary schools located in the plains areas will begin from June 1 and continue until August 31, 2026. For middle, high, and higher secondary schools in the same regions, the summer break will be observed from June 15 to August 16, 2026.
The department further stated that in the colder mountainous regions of the province, all educational institutions will remain closed from July 1 to July 31, 2026. The schedule has been issued to ensure uniform implementation of summer holidays across different climatic zones.
