KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Sunday launched strong verbal criticism against the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and its chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Addressing a gathering in Surjani Town, Farooq Sattar criticized Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s recent speech, saying that after listening the speech, it seemed as though “a distressed leader” was speaking.

He criticized the PPP by saying that they were boasting about constructing a single road for the privileged class and questioned whether they could escape accountability for the corruption of past the 18 years.

Farooq Sattar further said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) files buried “under the carpet” would eventually come to light and they would be held accounted for corruption of billions of rupees.

He also questioned why the cost of the University Road project increased from Rs 70 billion to Rs 110 billion, adding that the Red Line project would become the “deadline” for the PPP.
