ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Pakistan will continue its sincere efforts for lasting peace, mutual respect, and regional stability.
In a post on X, Dar thanked all stakeholders involved in the peace process, saying that recent diplomatic engagement marked an important step toward regional stability.
He noted that U.S. President Donald Trump held telephone conversations with leaders of several Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Qatar, Egypt, the UAE, and Jordan. He described the initiative as a significant development for stability in the region.
Dar also expressed appreciation for U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and the broader American team, praising their commitment to dialogue and diplomacy.
He further thanked Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and other Iranian leadership figures, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, for their constructive role.

Praising Pakistan’s leadership, he lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his vision and commitment to peace, and commended Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his key role in the process, including representing Pakistan in recent discussions.
He also highlighted the efforts of Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, saying sustained diplomatic engagement had helped advance the outcome.
Dar reiterated that Pakistan supports all sincere efforts for peace, mutual respect, and regional stability, adding that dialogue and diplomacy must be prioritized over confrontation and conflict for shared prosperity and security.
