LAHORE (Dunya News) - Alibaba.com, a leading global B2B e-commerce platform, has announced the launch of Accio Work in Pakistan, positioned as the Agentic Business Team for SMEs.
This launch marks a significant shift in digital trade, providing small and medium-sized exporters with an autonomous, plug-and-play workforce capable of executing end-to-end business operations.
Under the new platform, exporters will be provided with an automated digital workforce capable of managing business operations from start to finish with greater efficiency and speed.
Officials said the initiative comes at a time when Pakistan’s export sector is undergoing rapid transformation and the use of artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly important in international trade.
Speaking at the launch ceremony, Ethan Wang, Head of Global Sales Products and Services at Alibaba.com, described AccioWork as an advanced and autonomous digital workforce rather than a traditional software tool.
He said the AI-powered system can identify business opportunities, handle daily operations, and support timely decision-making for businesses.
According to Wang, the platform functions as a complete “agentic business team” for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), assisting with market research, creative content generation, customer engagement, and online store monitoring.
He added that the technology would help Pakistani exporters strengthen their presence in global markets and improve competitiveness through AI-driven solutions.
