Momina’s sister confirmed that the wedding has been scheduled for June 1.

(Web Desk) - Pakistani actor and model Momina Iqbal is set to get married on June 1, according to her family, as her sister and legal representative confirmed details of both her wedding and an ongoing legal case.

Rumours regarding the actress’s marriage had been circulating on social media for the past several days. However, her sister, advocate Rimsha Iqbal, has now officially confirmed that the nikah ceremony will take place on June 1.

Rimsha Iqbal also clarified that the marriage has been arranged with mutual family consent, and the groom has been identified as Muhammad Hamza Habibi.

The development comes at a time when the actress is also involved in a high-profile controversy, in which she has alleged that a powerful political figure has been issuing threats to her and her family. She previously shared her concerns on social media, after which law enforcement authorities initiated action.

Following her complaint, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) summoned a Punjab MPA in connection with allegations of online harassment and intimidation.

Speaking to the media, Rimsha Iqbal, who is a lawyer by profession and handling the case, said that the investigation process had shown progress. She added that all relevant evidence had been submitted to the authorities and the accused lawmaker had been called for questioning.

She further stated that the family was not seeking unnecessary media attention but acknowledged receiving public and institutional support. According to her, both the actress and members of her in-laws’ family had been provided security due to reported threats.

Rimsha Iqbal said the matter is being pursued legally and expressed hope that the case would reach a fair conclusion soon.
