KARACHI (Dunya News) Sindh Senior Minister and Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon on Thursday said that the federal government appreciates the performance of the Sindh government.
During a press conference, Sharjeel Memon said that the government want excessive wheat to reach the market so that flour can be provided to the masses at lower prices, adding that strict action will be taken against hoarders.
He stated that it has been decided to closely monitor the transportation of wheat outside the province. He further said that grants will be provided to ensure better food for prisoners in jails.
Sharjeel Memon also said that there has been no contact with the federal government regarding the 28th Amendment, and a decision will be made once the details of the amendment are shared.
