Jamaat-e-Islami leader Mian Masood Ahmed passes away

Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Liaqat Baloch, Ameerul Azeem, Fareed Paracha have expressed condolence on his sad demise

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The central leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Mian Masood Ahmed passed away in Lahore on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.

Funeral prayers will be offered at Mansora after Asr prayers. Jamaat-e-Islami chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Liaqat Baloch, Ameerul Azeem, Fareed Paracha have expressed condolence on his sad demise.

Mian Maqsood had also served as the former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Mian Maqsood Ahmad was a senior leader of Jamaat-e-Islami and that his death is a great loss for the party. He also prayed for the elevation of his ranks and for the patience and strength for his family.
