Punjab govt says “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” pavilion in Baku attracts global attention. CM Maryam Nawaz to showcase housing project aiming 5 lakh homes in 5 years

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said that the Punjab government’s pavilion for the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” housing project in Baku has become a center of attention for international visitors and foreign guests.

In her statement, she added that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz will showcase this landmark housing initiative in Baku today as part of the province’s international outreach.

The minister described the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” programme as one of the largest and most unique housing initiatives in the world, under which 100,000 houses have already been completed, while construction work on 60,000 more houses is progressing rapidly.

She further stated that the chief minister has set a target of providing homes to 500,000 families within five years, adding that development work in Punjab is now being recognized internationally rather than remaining confined to paperwork.

Azma Bokhari remarked that when projects are being delivered on the ground, they are acknowledged globally, adding that those who cannot match Maryam Nawaz’s performance are instead affected by criticism directed at her leadership.
