WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - US President Donald Trump has once again warned Iran of severe consequences, saying Tehran has very little time left to make a decision.
In a statement posted on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that time was “rapidly running out” for Iran and that it must move forward immediately, otherwise “nothing will be left” for the country.
He emphasized that time was of critical importance.
The US president said Iran would face “very bad conditions” if it failed to reach an agreement soon, adding that it would be in Tehran’s best interest to strike a deal with Washington.
“The agreement is in Iran’s favour; otherwise, the country will go through a very difficult period,” he said.
Earlier, Trump had also shared a threatening message apparently directed at Iran on social media without explicitly naming the country. The post carried the caption, “The calm before the storm.”
The image accompanying the post showed Trump aboard a naval vessel alongside a US navy officer, while a military boat carrying the Iranian flag could be seen in the background.
