ABU DHABI (Dunya News) - A drone attack was reported outside the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the United Arab Emirates, triggering a fire, officials confirmed.
According to authorities, the fire broke out following the drone strike near the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant, located in the Al Dhafra region close to the Saudi border.
Officials said a generator at the facility caught fire, but emergency teams successfully brought the blaze under control.

No casualties were reported in the incident.
In an official statement, authorities said that radiological safety levels remained fully secure and that all units at the Abu Dhabi Barakah plant continued to operate normally.
Officials further stated that the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant generates approximately 25 percent of the UAE’s electricity and has a power generation capacity of 5.6 gigawatts.
