Punjab wins Special Olympics Pakistan Games

Punjab secured the Special Olympics Pakistan National Games title after athletes delivered impressive performances across multiple sporting events in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Special Olympics Pakistan National Games concluded in Islamabad with Punjab winning the overall title.

Federal Secretary and Director General Pakistan Sports Board Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani attended the closing ceremony as chief guest, where special athletes displayed remarkable talent and determination.

Punjab secured the title with 12 gold medals, while Sindh finished second with nine gold and 10 silver medals.

Federal Area claimed third position after winning eight gold medals.

Special athletes delivered strong performances in races, shot put and mini javelin throw competitions during the event.

Mohyuddin Wani, along with Ronak Lakhani, distributed medals among the winning athletes.

The three-day games were held at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
