Pakistan win toss, elect to bowl first against Bangladesh in second Test

Bangladesh currently lead the series 1-0 after securing a 104-run victory in the first Test

(Web Desk) - Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against Bangladesh in the second Test of the two-match series at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Pakistan captain Shan Masood opted to field first as his side looks to level the series after losing the opening Test in Dhaka.

The visitors made three changes to their playing XI, with Babar Azam returning to the side after recovering from injury, replacing Imam-ul-Haq.

Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi and spinner Noman Ali were left out, while Khurram Shahzad and Sajid Khan were included in the lineup.

Bangladesh currently lead the series 1-0 after securing a 104-run victory in the first Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Chasing a target of 268, Pakistan were bowled out for 163 in the second innings.

Pakistan Playing XI: Azan Awais, Shan Masood (c), Babar Azam, Abdullah Fazal, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Salman Ali Agha, Khurram Shahzad, Sajid Khan, Hassan Ali, Muhammad Abbas.

Bangladesh Playing XI: Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Tanzid Hasan, Najmul Hossain Shanto (c), Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das (wk), Mehidy Hassan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Nahid Rana.
