KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a sharp decline on Friday, following a downward trend in the international market.
According to the Jewellers Association, the price of per tola gold dropped by Rs15,500, reaching Rs476,862, while the rate for 10 grams fell by Rs13,289 to settle at Rs408,832. In the global market, gold prices fell by $155, bringing the international rate down to $4,545.
Silver prices in Pakistan also saw a decline, with the per tola rate falling by Rs972 to close at Rs8,232. The price of 10 grams dropped by Rs833, reaching Rs8,057.
Analysts attribute the decline to weakening global demand and market corrections, suggesting a cautious approach for buyers in the short term.
