SANGHAR (Dunya News) - A 13-year-old boy was killed and two others were injured when a marriage ceremony came under fire by a rival group in the suburbs of the city here on Thursday.
According to police, members of Korai Baradari entered the marriage ceremony and opened indiscriminate firing, leaving one dead and two injured.
Police were finding the reason for the firing. But initial report suggested that the firing may be the result of personal vendetta. The assailants escaped after the firing.
The dead and the injured were shifted to hospital. Police have started investigation by collecting forensic evidence and recording statements from the guests of the marriage.
With the death of the teenage boy, the marriage celebrations turned into a mourning event. People were expressing sorrow and grief over the incident and demanding the police high-ups arrest the culprits at the earliest.
