KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police in Sindh capital have formally requested detailed records of cases registered against Anmol, also known as Pinky, from Punjab police as the investigation into her arrest continues to expand.
The move comes as authorities in Karachi look to build a comprehensive legal profile of cases filed in Lahore and surrounding districts. Officials indicate that further procedural steps are expected once the requested documentation is received from Punjab authorities.
According to senior police officials, coordination has been initiated to obtain complete details of criminal cases registered in Lahore and adjacent districts against Anmol alias Pinky. The development follows ongoing investigative efforts in Karachi, where law enforcement agencies are already preparing additional legal proceedings linked to the accused.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Asad Raza confirmed that formal requests have been sent to Punjab police seeking records of all cases registered in Lahore and nearby districts. He stated that once the information is received, it will be incorporated into the ongoing investigation being conducted by Karachi police.
Officials noted that the process is aimed at consolidating all available case records to ensure a complete legal assessment of the accused across different jurisdictions. Authorities expect the documentation from Punjab police to arrive shortly, which will further assist in strengthening the investigative file.

Investigative officials have indicated that Anmol alias Pinky is expected to be formally implicated in three additional cases registered within District South in Karachi. These cases are currently under procedural review, and entries of arrest are likely to be added in the coming phase of legal action.
Police sources further revealed that efforts are underway to secure a fresh remand of the accused. Once the remand is obtained, custody is expected to be handed over to the Investigation South police team for continued interrogation and case progression.
Authorities emphasised that the investigation remains active, with multiple legal dimensions being examined as part of the ongoing inquiry.

Officials stated that the identification of these residences forms part of the broader inquiry into the accused’s activities and movements. The verification process regarding ownership and usage of the properties is currently underway as part of the ongoing investigation.
