KARACHI (Dunya News) - Investigation sources have revealed new details about the alleged drug trafficking network linked to accused Anmol alias “Pinky”, exposing methods used for the distribution and sale of narcotics.

According to investigators, Anmol Pinky used online methods to handle payments related to drug buying and selling. Sources said that for new customers, instead of using riders for delivery, drugs were placed at specific locations shared by the accused.

New customers were then directed to collect the narcotics from those designated spots, investigators added.

Officials further revealed that the accused allegedly distributed drugs in Karachi’s posh areas as well as in educational institutions, raising serious concerns over the spread of narcotics in sensitive locations.

Sources said that a six-member gang was operating under Anmol Pinky’s network for supplying drugs in upscale localities and educational institutions. The group reportedly included one woman and five men.

Investigators also stated that apart from this six-member gang, the accused was independently involved in drug buying and selling operations through additional contacts.

The investigating officer said that efforts are underway to uncover the full extent of the network and identify all individuals involved in the illegal operation.
