GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Two alleged dacoits were killed and as many arrested after being injured in alleged encounters with CCD and the district police here on Wednesday.
The suspects were identified as Asif and Shan. Asif was involved in 76 cases of heinous crimes including robbery, attempted murder. He was wanted by Lahore, Sialkot and Gujrat Police. Shan was involved in dozens of case of robbery and looting.
The arrested robbers were wanted by police for their involvement in many cases of serious crimes. Further investigation was underway. Weapons and looted valuables were seized. During the encounters, their accomplices escaped. A manhunt was launched for them. The injured and the dead were shifted to hospital for medicolegal procedure.
