Ishaq Dar, Kuwaiti FM discuss regional situation, Iran-US talks

Ishaq Dar and Kuwait’s foreign minister discussed Iran-US talks, regional stability and possible economic impact of Hormuz tensions.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with the foreign minister of Kuwait to discuss the regional situation, Iran-US negotiations and efforts for peace and stability.

During the conversation, the Kuwaiti foreign minister praised Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating talks between the United States and Iran.

He also appreciated the peace efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir and Ishaq Dar.

The Kuwaiti foreign minister further commended Pakistan’s constructive and positive role in promoting regional peace and stability.

Both leaders also discussed the possible closure of the Strait of Hormuz and its wider impact on the global economy.

On the occasion, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region and across the world.
