KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices in Pakistan witness sharp surge on Tuesday tracking the global trend.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs4,100 to reach Rs492,462, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,515 to Rs422,206.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $41 per ounce, taking the global rate to $4,701 per ounce.
Meanwhile silver prices also witnessed a sharp rise, with 24-karat silver per tola gaining Rs395 to settle at Rs8,908.
Traders attributed the increase to fluctuations in the international bullion market and ongoing investor demand for precious metals.
