A ceremony at Wagah Border marked one year of Maarka-e-Haq, with leaders and citizens paying tribute to martyrs and reaffirming national unity.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A dignified ceremony was held at the Wagah Border to mark the completion of one year of ‘Maarka-e-Haq’, drawing a large number of participants.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif attended the event as chief guest, accompanied by Provincial Information Minister Azma Bukhari.

During the ceremony, the chief minister visited the martyrs’ memorial, laid floral wreaths and offered prayers in tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the country.

The event featured patriotic songs that energised the crowd, with chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” echoing across the venue.

Similar ceremonies were also held across the country and among overseas Pakistanis to commemorate the anniversary, reaffirming their commitment to safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan.
