Interior Ministry rejects reports of targeted UAE deportations, calling them malicious propaganda and clarifying deportations follow legal procedures.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Ministry of Interior has rejected reports circulating in sections of the media and social media regarding alleged targeted deportations of Pakistani nationals from the United Arab Emirates.

According to the ministry, after reviewing available details and data, such reports were found to be malicious, fabricated and part of propaganda spread by vested interests.

The statement clarified that no country-specific or sect-specific deportations are being carried out from any country, including the UAE.

It said deportations, if any, are part of routine procedures under the host country’s laws and regulations, including cases involving visa violations, overstays or illegal documentation.

The ministry added that Pakistani citizens who meet visa and employment requirements continue to travel to and obtain work visas for the UAE and other friendly countries without discrimination.

It further stated that misinformation being spread on social media is intended to serve ulterior motives.

The ministry said any issue involving Pakistani nationals abroad is addressed on a case-by-case basis through established channels of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan with the concerned country.
