ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A special seminar was held at National University of Sciences and Technology to mark one year of Marka-e-Haq victory, bringing together political, military and diplomatic figures.
Addressing the seminar, retired Lieutenant General Aamir Riaz said that Pakistan’s security is in strong hands and praised the country’s armed forces for safeguarding national borders.
He stated that Pakistan had responded to Indian proxies in a wise and strategic manner as the country’s capabilities during the last year conflict had surprised its adversaries.
Addressing the seminar, Mushahid Hussain Syed said that in the battle for truth, only the successes of truth and justice remained prominent which enhanced Pakistan’s standing in the Muslim world.
He said that in response of India’s provoked aggression the Pakistan Air Force destroyed the Indian Rafale jets in a matter of moments, showcasing the world Pakistan’s air superiority.
Mushahid Hussain also commented on regional politics, saying Pakistan was emerging as a guarantor of peace in South Asia and the Middle East, referencing Pakistan’s recent mediation efforts in Iran US war.
Former diplomat Masood Khan also addressed the ceremony and praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their remarkable success against India during the “Battle of Truth.”
He said the outcome of the conflict had made the nation proud and credited both the political and military leadership for the country’s response.
He said the armed forces had acted responsibly to ensure national security and described the Pakistan Air Force’s operations as decisive during the confrontation.
