Pakistan’s political and military leadership reaffirm commitment to national defence, warning India of a strong response to any future aggression

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s political and military leadership has reaffirmed its unwavering resolve to defend the country and ensure the protection of its citizens.

Last year, Pakistan had already warned India of a decisive and forceful response against any aggression before delivering a strong retaliation to Indian hostilities.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed full confidence in the Pakistan Armed Forces’ commitment to protecting citizens and defending the country, stating that any act of aggression or misadventure by India would be met with full force.

On May 8, 2025, Director General ISPR exposed Indian provocations and said all Israeli-made drones that entered Pakistani territory had been destroyed.

The military spokesperson stated that India’s aggressive actions had pushed the entire region towards the brink of war. He further remarked that when Pakistan responds, the whole world would witness it without needing Indian media to announce it.

Pakistan’s military leadership reiterated its commitment to ensuring the country’s security and safeguarding its borders at all costs.

According to international experts, despite repeated warnings from Pakistan, India continued its aggression under the so-called “Operation Sindoor” and ultimately faced embarrassment at the global level.

Experts added that during Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan’s military confidence and strategic capabilities forced India to retreat from the battlefield.
