RAWALPINDI: Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was not allowed to meet any party leaders at Adiala Jail despite it being a scheduled meeting day.
According to reports, the designated meeting time expired without any interaction taking place. Party leaders who had arrived for the meeting were denied access and later returned from the Dahgal check post.
Among those who came for the meeting were Members of the National Assembly Khurram Warraich and Naseem Ali Shah, while provincial lawmakers including Zahir Shah, Rajab Abbasi, Zar Alam, and Rubina Shaheen also reached the check post but were not permitted to proceed.
The development comes amid ongoing restrictions surrounding jail meeting protocols, with authorities not providing an immediate explanation for denying access on the scheduled day.
