UAE President meets PM Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid at industrial exhibition

UAE leaders reviewed industrial growth at Make it in the Emirates 2026, stressing innovation, investment and role of industry in strengthening national economy and competitiveness.

ABU DHABI (Dunya News) - UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during the “Make it in the Emirates 2026” exhibition held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

According to the Dubai Media Office, the meeting took place during the fifth edition of the exhibition, which highlighted progress in national industrial development and future production capabilities.

The two leaders reviewed key innovations, products and initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness, manufacturing capacity and expansion of national industries across various sectors. The UAE President was also briefed by participating institutions on major projects and initiatives showcased at the event.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said the industrial sector is a fundamental pillar of national economic strength and diversification. He stated that strengthening this sector is part of the UAE’s strategy to empower national industries, promote innovation, attract investment, and create new opportunities for Emirati talent.

He further noted that strong participation in the exhibition reflects the progress and growing competitiveness of the UAE’s industrial sector.
