ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistani actress Uzma Tahir has made strong remarks about actor Danish Taimoor, calling him arrogant during a recent interview in which she discussed behaviour within the entertainment industry.
In the interview, Uzma Tahir openly spoke about how actors behave on sets and with staff members, stating that she has observed differences in treatment between senior artists and junior staff in the industry.
Responding to a question about actors’ behaviour with production staff on set, she said she has not been active in dramas for the past 10 years.
She added that in earlier times, senior actors would not even allow newcomers to sit near them, and such practices still exist today, where meals for senior actors and crew members are often arranged separately.
While discussing Danish Taimoor, Uzma Tahir said she feels the actor has developed “attitude” over time. She remarked that people sometimes forget their early struggles after achieving success.
She said that when individuals enter the industry, they often come from humble beginnings, but later their perspective changes. She added that despite his success, actors should remain respectful towards those who have worked with them.
Uzma Tahir emphasized that people should remember their past and remain grounded. She stated that although Danish Taimoor is a good actor, he should treat colleagues respectfully. She also mentioned that actress Sadaf Kanwal interacts with her politely.
