TEHRAN (Dunya News) - Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has said that the enemy aims to break Iran’s unity in order to force it into surrender.
In a message to the nation, he stated that the enemy is pursuing a new strategy involving naval blockade, economic pressure and media propaganda to destabilise the country.
He said the objective is to weaken national unity and compel Iran to give in, adding that the possibility of military aggression, particularly terrorist attacks, cannot be ruled out.
Ghalibaf further said this approach is part of a broader strategy targeting society, aimed at weakening Iran from within.
He added that despite economic challenges, Iranians remain committed to their freedom, dignity, faith and beliefs.
The speaker said the nation understands the sensitivity of the current period and must stand firm against an enemy that wrongly assumes it can undermine Iranian civilisation.
