KARACHI (Dunya News) – A man was shot dead and other wounded in a gun attack, what police suspected a targeted assault in Gulistan-e-Johar, Block -11 here on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Wajid. Police started an investigation after shifting the dead and the injured to hospital. Initial investigation revealed that the victims were ambushed by unidentified armed men hiding roadside.
Police received a distress call that two motorcyclists were attacked by unidentified assailants. When police scrambled to the crime scene, the attackers fled.
Police cordoned off the area and recorded statements from onlookers and collecting forensic evidence. The law enforcers also obtained CCTV footage of the incident. Police were trying to find out the motive behind the murder.
