KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Navy is carrying out a humanitarian rescue operation in the Arabian Sea.
According to security sources, personnel of the Pakistan Navy are providing emergency assistance to the crew aboard the vessel “MV Gautam,” including six Indian nationals and one Indonesian crew member.
Sources said that the Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center (MRCC) Mumbai contacted Pakistani authorities after the vessel, en route from Oman to India, developed a technical fault.

Upon receiving the emergency alert, the Pakistan Navy dispatched a ship of the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, “Kashmir,” to carry out the rescue operation.
Security sources further stated that the Indian and Indonesian crew members on board are being provided with food, medical aid, and technical assistance.
The Pakistan Navy remains ready and committed to delivering effective support in any emergency situation at sea.
