Pakistan reaffirms principled stance at UN over India's unilateral actions

Pakistan exposed India's nefarious intentions to the world even before its aggression.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reiterated its principled stance at the United Nations, warning India against any aggressive moves under the guise of Pahalgam false flag operation.

Pakistan exposed India's nefarious intentions to the world even before its aggression. On May 2, 2025, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar, said that Indian actions pose a serious threat to regional peace and security.

He emphasized that Pakistan does not seek escalation with India and has conveyed this position at all diplomatic levels. However, he made it clear that Pakistan remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The envoy further warned that any form of “water aggression” by India would be viewed as an act of war. He added that Pakistan is open to mediation by the United Nations to ease tensions and promote stability in the region.
