LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistan’s Street Child Football Team will depart for Mexico on Friday to participate in the Street Child World Cup 2026.
The tournament, scheduled from May 5 to 15, will feature teams from 30 countries competing in both boys’ and girls’ events.
The global event is a youth-led movement advocating for the rights, protection and identity of street-connected children worldwide.
Pakistan’s team, participating under the organization Muslim Hands, will also attend the United Nations General Assembly during the visit.
It is worth noting that Pakistan secured second position and won a silver medal in the Street Child World Cup 2022 held in Qatar.
