GAZA (Web Desk) - The Israeli navy has intercepted the Sumud flotilla carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza.
According to the aid organization, Israeli speedboats surrounded several vessels in the flotilla, after which aid workers onboard were taken into custody.
The organization stated that contact with the aid workers has been lost.
Organizers said Israeli forces used drones, communication jamming technology, and armed personnel to stop the flotilla in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.
The aid organization called on governments to immediately intervene to ensure the safety and protection of the humanitarian mission.
