LAHORE (Dunya News) - Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the country was put on the path of development whenever the PML-N came into power.

Speaking during the session of Punjab Assembly on Wednesday, the senior minister said that the health and education budget increased significantly in the PML-N’s tenure.

The assembly session also witnessed disruption as opposition members raised slogans and created a noisy protest during her speech.

Addressing the assembly, Aurangzeb criticized PTI’s MPA Ijaz Shafi, asserting that not a single statement of his was accurate. “I say this under oath—this is a legislative house where every statement should be truthful. Political rhetoric can be taken outside,” she remarked.
