Sahibzada Farhan retains third spot as ICC releases latest rankings

ICC released new player rankings: Abhishek Sharma tops T20 batsmen, Rashid Khan leads bowlers; Bangladesh’s players show strong gains in both ODI and T20 charts.

DUBAI (Dunya News) – The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday released its latest player rankings.

In the T20 batsmen rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma continued to hold the top position, while Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan ranks third. Bangladesh batter Towhid Hridoy made a notable jump, moving up nine places to reach 39th position.

Among T20 bowlers, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remains at number one, with Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed maintaining the third spot. In the T20 all-rounders category, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza holds onto the top position.

In ODI cricket, Daryl Mitchell retained his number one ranking among batsmen, followed by India’s Virat Kohli in second place. Bangladesh’s Najmul Hossain Shanto rose 11 places to reach 32nd position.

For ODI bowlers, Rashid Khan continues to lead the rankings, while Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed remains in 11th place. Bangladesh’s Shoriful Islam climbed 11 spots to 28th, Mustafizur Rahman improved 14 places to 41st, and Naheed Rana advanced 16 positions to 48th.
