Karachi unveils traffic plan for PSL 11 qualifier at National Stadium

Karachi Traffic Police issued a special traffic and parking plan for the PSL 11 qualifier between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Authorities in Karachi have issued a comprehensive traffic management plan ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 qualifier between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United at National Stadium Karachi on Monday.

According to Karachi Traffic Police, Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open for general traffic on both sides, while dedicated parking arrangements have been made for cricket fans travelling to the venue.

Spectators arriving from Karsaz have been advised to use Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road and proceed beneath the stadium flyover towards Sir Shah Suleman Road, where parking will be available at National Coaching Centre and China Ground.

Fans approaching from Millennium can reach the designated parking areas via Stadium Road and Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi Road before turning towards Sir Shah Suleman Road.

Those coming from New Town have been directed to use Stadium Road and, after passing Aga Khan Hospital, turn left towards the National Coaching Centre and China Ground parking facilities.

Traffic authorities also announced restrictions on heavy vehicles on several routes surrounding the stadium, including Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liaquatabad No 10 to Hasan Square, PP Chowrangi towards University Road, Karsaz to Stadium, Millennium Mall to New Town, and from Stadium Signal to Hasan Square.

Officials said the measures were aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow and facilitating cricket enthusiasts attending the high-stakes qualifier.

Citizens have been urged to cooperate with traffic police and law enforcement agencies to avoid inconvenience during match hours.
